Babe i know you like to read my poems
so i wrote one especially for you that you could own

I'm writing this to show you that i care
and that I'm here and I'm not going anywhere

i love you babe its true but I'm not done yet not even half way through

you give me attention that i need
you showed me things and made me believe

you make me smile and make me weak
your heart gave my heart a special wink

a special thimble to my cheek
a little flushed my face will be

hold my hand and ill hold yours
we will walk where god takes us
together we will make it through

so put your hand inside of mine
and ill hold it close with all of my might

ill give you a kiss
so hold it tight
kiss it when you cant sleep at night

old, new, special memories
the future will soon lead us to what we will be

always thinking, never knowing
where are we walking
where are we going

give me your heart and ill give you mine
together love is what we will find
