-Love and happiness are the two things that I miss
-All is cured by a soothing touch or a gentle kiss

- What is pure love, because it’s something I never had
- Heart wrenching torture, an obsession gone bad

- I want a man that gives me a tender kiss at night
- And in the morning misses me so much, he just holds me tight

- I want the man that sits up and watches me sleep
- Because the picture of me is what he wants to keep

- Instead I had a man that I cried for everyday
- An addict so far deep death was probably on its way

- Letting go was the only option as years went by
- ”Lord, make me stop loving this man” is all I could cry

- Another man came along
- This should explain “DMX - Don’t gotta go home” was our song

- I just want a man to put me first
- Both men I was second, I swear I’m cursed

- I want a man that can feel
- I want a man that knows how to keep it real

- I want a man that is loyal
- I want a man that treats a woman royal

- I want a man with brown eyes that I can get lost in
- I want a man that shows me the keys to my heart is what he wants to win

- I want a man with class and respect
- I want a man and I to just connect

- I want a man that has unconditional love
- I want a man that pays his respects to the Man above

- I want a man that tells me the truth
- I want a man that shows me how to regain my youth

- I want a man that’s in-touch with his heart
- I want a man that thinks before he does, and plays it smart

- I want a man that is tough and has some pride
- I want a man that takes control and is my guide.

- I want a man that I can feel safe in his arm
- I want a man with irresistible charm

- Does the man really exist
- I haven’t found him yet, but he’s greatly missed
