Putting me down does it build up your pride?

Hurtful words I would never say

My feelings, do you even consider?
I feel weird and alone and kinda betrayed
I would never play that game that you played
Words to help you heal and get by
Words to make you get up and continue to try
Those are the things I would offer to you
In your time of pain or when you feel blue
I wouldn’t say anything to make you feel like less
Just makes me realize even more my life is just a mess
