Dead to you

Kiss these lips
and leave me dead
shan't my soul
light up ahead

my soul is broken
with your dagger you cut so deep
held my heart in your hand
as the willows weep

kick me now
and break my heart
with your smile you ease
this is only the start

you held me tight
now limp and pale
i gaze into your eyes
i now see behind the blackened vail

am i dead to you
you stripped away all that was mine
no longer will i worship
no longer will i bow to your flaming shrine

so keep your heart
for mine is gone
you sold me out
at the break of dawn
