Birds of Myth Omens

by Yunami   Jul 4, 2005

The last of its kind
It wanders the night
Filling the darkness
With visions of fright

They flee in fear
Beasts of the night
As the White Raven
Flies into sight

The omen of death,
Its only foe
The Raven of black
And the White Crow

Mention of the owl
Wisest of all
Will summon another
Releasing its call

The Nightingale's free
To do as it must
Couples deep in love
Grow apart with mistrust

Silly as it may seem
There is one last one
The pigeons deeds
Soon will be done

Omens unknown
These birds do tell
Keeping you from Heaven
They'll send you to Hell...
