Unseen War

by Fierce   Jul 8, 2005

Softly caring on her own
She tries to hold back
The way she feels
Patience she lacks

Desperately holding on
To something unreachable
She tries so hard to believe
But it’s swept under the table

Frantically waiting for true love
Nothing seems to go very fast
She tries so hard just to feel
But nothing so good ever lasts

Slowly dying in love’s war
She lifts her head just to see
But the war was far over
This wasn’t meant to be

Delicately letting go
Of all she knew
Softly dying
In a world so blue

Heavily burdened on her heart
This was her last breath
Life isn’t life without love
Life without love is heading for death

PLEASE VOTE/COMMENT… It would mean so much to me
