Putting it Down

Once you let go you just want the person you love back,
There is deep depression filling my heart,
And it is because you I lack.
With you there is nothing I can't do,
But without you inside I'm always so blue,
I can't believe I lost you,
How stupid was I to think the rumors were true,
But then again revenge is never sweet,
Against the one who swept you off your feet.
So I think I've messed up enough and I am putting down the knife,
And once again taking a hold of my life.
