My New Friend©

Let me tell you about my new friend
Who promised she'd stay to the end
She listened to everything I said
And not once did she get mad
She understood everything I felt
And understood the problems that have been dealt
I leaned over to hug my friend and to show her that I care and to also show her how much I needed her there
I reached to pull her nearer to find out this perfect friend was nothing but a mirror
