Once upon a time you cared,
promised me you'd always be there,
once again you through me out,
made me suffer, dried my tears, and took me back,
once more you shut the door on my heart,
where it breaks and falls apart,
once again the game keeps going,
you grab a girl, spread the lies that make you "big",
shared the love that made us close,
gave it out for the world to know,
once upon a time, you said you loved me, told me things that later on had no meaning in your life,
once again you held my heart,
then lied to make my dreams...fall apart...
