I Mean It Too

I've tried so many times,
To explain how much I care,
I know you've given me reasons,
And that it's not really fair.

But I feel that our love,
Shouldn't need to be explained,
It just hurts me every time,
You've come and complained.

"I don't think you love me,
At least not like I do,
Because if you loved me,
Then you could tell me too."

Just because I'm not good,
At speaking my own mind,
Doesn't mean you have to be a jerk,
And tell me things unkind.

Don't stick words in my mouth,
Because you assume it so,
Just because I don't speak it,
Doesn't mean I'm some h0e.

I know there's lots of girls,
Who have said how much they've cared,
But they went and broke your heart,
Something I would never of dared.

If you really love me,
You'll know I mean it too,
But all I have to say right now,
Is that I love you too.

**Well that jerk in a lot of my poems from before and I are going out now...I really love him but sometimes he doesn't think I love him back b/c I don't express myself well in the one-on-one situation...any advice??**

    My advice: Give him this poem. Maybe even write another one saying how it's hard for you to express something that's impossible to explain. =) If you love him so much words won't be able to explain it. And if he really loves you he'll know that it's hard too and he'll know you love him. =)

    Hey great poem. Wht I would do in your situation is jsut sit down and tell him... I'm sorry I'm not good at how to express myself on how much I love you, but you do mean a lot to me and I do love you. I jsut don't know how to put it into words but I do know I care about you a lot and I do love you because I can feel it in my heart.....I hope that helps. Good luck!
