My love you return to me and expect
that everything is all right and correct
but you don't seem to see
that i have forgotten you and me

now its me indepent and alone
waiting for someone else to hold
not wanting your touch like before
not desiring your love anymore

when we first broke it off
i felt so alone
now i sit here alone again
but more confident then before

i used to cry myself to sleep
wishing you were still mine to keep
now i still long for you sometimes
but the ache in my heart is no more

sometimes i think about you
and whisper your name
but now its one time a day
instead of everyday

sometimes i miss you
and want you here
but i know that you're now gone
and out of my life for good, but

sometimes i would i think to myself
i would take you back if i could
but i quickly remind myself
of your lies and your secret times

even though i have moved on
and forgot your face
i still wish to be in your embrace
