I would advise you never to write like me. If you do, what part of that written will be your own? Think about it. Reading this poem has shown me that you hold immense talent that is all your own. I myself could never write a love poem, it is, shall we say, not in my blood? Unfortunate, do you not think so? I could never display this beautiful emotion. Do not tie yourself to my shortcomings. The only advice I can give you is to follow your head as well as your heart, for true poetry demands logic as well as emotion. Please do let me know if you would like me to read any of your new poems, I will be very glad to do so.
