LESSONS LEARNED!!

Tonite i taught him a lesson
i think i made it clear

I'm not just an ordinary girl
I'm someone you keep near

i can be weird
and i can be strange

but i just wanted to let him know
love isn't a game

you tried to trick me
you fell head first

you make me wonder
is love a human curse

i don't know if you noticed
or if you even cared

but i have been sitting at home
while you were out playing do i dare

you knew how it would end
you knew i would win

so why did you hide this from me
you should of just gave in

now I'm here showing you
how strong i really am

i can walk away without a tear
my heart knows how to mend

I'm not saying i hate you
or I'm glad that I'm free

i was really happy with you
but now my heart feels clean

I'm gonna start over
I'm gonna start new

i can still be your friend
if you can be true

there are no reasons to lie
no reasons to run

our love relationship is over and its clearly done

so friends we will be
until the very end

i can still love you but no more then just a friend
