Please don't let our friendship end!!

I showed you that poem,
I wanted you to know how I felt.
I still don't know what you thought.
I want you to know, I didn't write it to hurt you.
I just needed some way of expressing my feelings.
I still don't think you get it
but I think I am done explaining.
I just miss the way you made me happy
and cared what I thought and how I felt.
I miss the way you would call and we'd talk for hours
now I am lucky to get to talk to you for ten minutes on the internet.
It really confuses me
I told you that we'd stop talking after school
and now my prediction has come true.
Even though you told me it wouldn't.
I don't know what to tell you.
I cry every time I think about our friendship ending.
Call me a baby, but thats how much you meant to me
your friendship felt true
and now I don't know what it is.
I just wish you made time to hang out with me
like you did when you were dating Dave.
But, then I could call you,
but now, I have no clue when to call you, or if you'd call me back.
You have told me that you'd call me
but you don't.
Maybe that shows me what kind of friend I am to you.
Renee, I love you, and always will,
but I still want us to be friends forever
and keep in touch.
I don't know how else to tell you.
Writing poems is the easiest
it is the best way I can collect my thoughts and put them on paper.
It is even easier than writing an email to you,
the words just flow better.
But, I hope our friendship will change
for the better.
