Teachers pet

I'm the teachers pet
not a "wanted" trend
because the fact i like my teachers
the fact my teachers are my friends

i treat them like my other friends
like i treat everyone
i work with them if ever they ask
and while doing so, i have fun

teenagers of today
don't seem to understand
we don't consider ourselves teachers pet
just because we like to raise our hands

i will not deny it
i am a teachers pet
i try so hard so I'm the one
that my teachers will never forget

i think if during the summer
when you've got nothing better to do
and you suddenly get a letter
from a teacher dear to you

that your not a teachers pet
but a teachers friend
they are someone you can talk to you
even after your time with them ends

when you find me helping my teachers
and having fun with no regret
listen as i stand tall and proud
saying, "I'm A Teachers Pet!!!"
