Love at the Moulin Rouge

by Satine   Jul 17, 2005

OK, I'm a big fan of the movie Moulin Rouge, so this is sort of a summary in poem form. I got bored, so I decided to write it =P
-------------
The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.
* * *
Finding love at the Moulin Rouge is rare,
The men and women, they get there fair share,
But it's just an act
Its not a fact

Then there came a penniless poet
If there's anything to know about love, he'd know it
He fell in love with Satine
She fell for him too, and -thats- a rare thing

What good times they had
It made them both feel glad
That they had their love
Which was something they couldn't get enough of

Who know she would die?
And cause Christian to forever cry
Love at its last
Happened too fast

Then the wrote their tale
He promised her he wouldn't fail
Their love will always live

Forgetting it is something he wouldn't commit
* * *
The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.
