My Missing Piece

Have you ever had a feeling
That you're missing someones touch
You need someone there
Before this feeling gets too much

You can't put a finger on it
You don't really have a clue
Who this person is
Or what you could do

Not knowing who your missing
Is by far the painful part
There's such an empty feeling
At the bottom of your heart

You don't know what to do
And you don't know what to say
But this feeling in your heart
Keeps growing everyday

Maybe I should just forget
Because it will hurt less
But I'm not sure it's possible
To forget the pain in my chest

This feeling's like a puzzle
And he's the missing piece
The more I think about it
The more the pain will increase

It's not like I'm hurting
It's not too much to bear
I'll go on with my life
Just knowing no one's there

This feeling of confusion
I know I'll soon release
But let me ask a question..
Where's my missing piece?
