A Funeral For The Dead

A Funeral For The Dead

Ashes to ashes,
Dust to dust.
We bury them,
We bury them deep.
Their graves are silent,
They speak no words.
With my shovel and spade,
I bury my past.
May they rest in piece,
And let them sleep.
They died with honor,
Keeping the piece.
They served us well,
They made us proud.
We kept our promise,
To send them to hell.
Their funeral was quite,
Their funeral was fast.
We gave them a black rose,
That was evil inside.
They where hells soldiers,
Who fought for control.
They finished their mission,
And we finished their lives.

I don't totally agree with this...if it wasn't for them fighting for us who would? Where would we be? It sucks and it's not right...but it is necessary. I do really like this poem though! It's a strong write with a big message and is surely heard!

    Nicely done....see ya around...
