I'm Tired....

I'm tired of this empty feeling inside,
I'm tired of all the nights I've cried.
I'm tired of all the pain,
I'm tired of being stuck in the rain.
Being alone doesn't feel right,
I want someone to hold me all throughout the night,
I want someone to make my life bright.
That someone's name is Nathan,
He can always make me grin,
He makes me forget my pain when I'm with him.
I'm scared to tell him all the feelings I have,
I'm scared he wont have them back.
I've been hurt too many times,
That's why I sit around and write these rhymes.
I'm already falling deep for him,
Even though I know my chances with him are slim.
Maybe one day,
I'll get the courage to go up to him and say,
"When I'm around you I get a feeling I can't explain,"
"Being around you takes away my pain."
"So will you take a chance and be with me,"
"And be the man I need..?"
