Is It Meant to Be?

Sometimes I get so confused,
About you and I being together.
Is it just me
Or do you feel the same?

I love you more than life,
And you mean the world to me.
This might be a bit crazy
But I'd give the moon and the world to you.

I don't care what I have to do,
I'd find a way to jump off the end of the world.
Just so you would be happy and have everything you need.
Hell, I'd even take the love you have for me too so you'd forget about me.

I don't want to leave you.
And I don't want to stop loving you.
There's only one way that I would stop loving you,
And that is if you stopped loving me first.

I get hurt when you turn your back on me,
When I'm depressed and need someone there.
It makes me worse.
And them it feel like you don't even love or care for me anymore.

Sometimes I wish I could skip ahead.
But that would take the fun out of growing up.
And the chance of us getting to know each other.
I want our time together to go slow.

Every moment I'm with you I treasure.
Because I'm afraid I'll never see you again.
I'm scared that you'll leave me.
Even though you promised you won't.

I've been promised that 8 times before.
And I got hurt all 8 times.
Even though you may be different from all the other guys.
But that doesn't change.....I'm still scared.

Is it meant to be?
Or is it meant to fall apart and crumble beneath us?
No one knows.
We will just have to wait it out.
