Tortured Soul

by Samey   Jul 20, 2005

Collapsing in two,
Can’t stand the pressure you put on me,
Like a piece of wood under too much weight,
I snap, all senses leave me,
And all that’s left is a tortured soul,
Who is not fit to live,
But crashes through life looking for meaning,
Not knowing who to turn to,
Falling into a world that no one can stand,
A world where demons reign,
Killing all life seen as too blissful,
Ripping out joyous feelings,
And replacing them with torturing chains,
That bind to the feeling of hate,
And expel dreams of pleasure,
Into the darkness of pity and lies,
Dead for all to see.
