So now on the Internet there's barely anything to do

Now on the phone there are days You may not be able to call
Thanks to your parents of course
I won't have any contact with you at all

Two years ago when we met
We had all our classes together and lockers next to each other
We would flirt and laugh
Almost like we were sister and brother

But you were with my friend
And me with your best friend
But pretty soon
Both those relationships came to an end

The next year you had to be homeschooled
And in school I had to do without you
If I couldn't have talked to you on the phone
What would've happened to me I don't have a clue

I was still with your best friend last year
But you weren't with your girl anymore
I was torn whether to stay with my current boyfriend
Or try to go after you who I adore

Finally after my boyfriend became violent
And he left me
You came to my rescue
And we realized we were meant to be

I love you so much it hurts
And I hope you know
That when you talk of getting married to me
I want to hold you and never let go

So basically this is another I love you poem
But it has so much meaning to me
I hope that when you see this
Your wife-to-be you'll see
