This Confusion

We’ve been together the longest
Ive ever been with someone
But it doesn’t seem to change,
The fact that it’s the most confusing
Relationship Ive ever been in,

I seem to worry more about this
Confusion I have about us
Then actually trying to be happy
With what there is,
This confusion just never
Seems to want to leave,

I just wish it could all go away
And that I could go one day
Without this confusion
Running my head.

Im trying so hard to forget
Everything that’s rambling
Inside my head but I cant
Seem to figure out how,

Is it because it’s just
Really not working out
Or is it just that I won’t
Make an effort for it
To actually work.

As days go by
I see myself missing you
One day
And not feeling anything
The next

If that’s not a sign
Of something
Then please tell me what it is
That makes me feel this way
Because I’d really like to know
Why I feel like this
Day and night.
