Attacked

We just got off the phone
Avoiding any conversation
That would lead to "I feel so alone"

I barely talk to her anymore
She's never home, she's always gone
I don't know what I keep waiting for
I'm tired of her acting like I'm her little pawn
Like this is one big game
But yet the winners never change,
It's always her
She takes me by surprise
Always when I'm not quite sure
Like I've been hypnotized

She talks about the guys she sees
Like it doesn't hurt me
But she knows
But she just shrugs and says "so"

Forget her
I'm tired of getting kicked in the butt
Shoved through that door
Being told to go away
And come back another day
I'm not rain
I'm in pain
And I won't come back
I will no longer be attacked
