I thought you were the guy
but you weren't
you lied to me
you made me hurt

I thought you were the guy
but when you passed me that note that and I read "I think were better off just friends"
it hurt

I thought you were the guy
who would walk down the halls holding my haldand not care what people thought

I thought you were the guy
I could love forever
but I guess I was wrong
