Theres a girl down the street
shes as pretty as can be
but she spends half her day
doing her make-up and hair for a guy that will never care
she doesn't realize
if it was meant to be
then he would truly see

There's a guy 2 blocks down the street whos looking for someone to hang around
he likes the girl down the street but shes to busy to see
he tries to catch her attention but she could care less in any way

He knows what it feels like to be rejected,
