When times are hard
you're there for me
and you never let me fall
you hold me close
while I tell you not to let
me go at all

You wipe each tear
and save each smile
and you wipe away all pain
and I always find you by my side
in the sunshine or the rain

You seem to be an angel
and you're brighter than a star
if miles equals my love for you
we will travel very far

In pain & sick
through tears and grief
or whatever it might be
