I'm your Deaf, Blind and Mute

by Dayne   Jul 29, 2005

I’m the Deaf…
I hear all of your insults dear,
I close my ears as you laugh,
I walk away so I can’t hear.

I’m the Blind,
I see you cursing at me,
I close my eyes as you glare,
I walk away so I can’t see.

I’m the Mute…
I want to shout you’re from hell,
I close my mouth as you seal them,
I walk away so I can’t tell.

And I’m all yours…
You have me Deaf, Blind and Mute,
And I’m the obedient fool,
You’ve chained a ball on my foot.

I’m the Deaf…
I hear you screaming in fear,
I close my ears as you plead,
I walk away so I can’t hear.

I’m the blind…
I see you beaten up and bloody,
I close my eyes as I see your pain,
I walk away so I can’t see.

I’m the Mute…
I want to stop them with a yell,
I close my mouth as I sealed them,
I walk away so I can’t tell.

And I’m still all yours…
You have me Deaf, Blind and Mute,
And the obedient fool left you dead,
I walk away burying the truth.
