Lonley Without You

by Erin   Jul 29, 2005

I wake up to an empty feeling
Not knowing when I’ll find you
Thinking about you is a real healing
But just thinking will not do

I pray that you’ll come to me
And hope that day comes soon
For incomplete my life will be
As I listen to sad tunes

I try not to look back
And see the mistakes I made
So now, away, I’ll try to pack
All the memories that should fade

I dream about you every night
But nightmares come too
In my dreams you’re with me in light
When in nightmares I say ‘who’?

Friends and family tell me
That I’m as lucky as a duck
And I’ll find that special key
To be worth a million bucks

Oh, God, help me as much as you can
But just hear my last wish
Fine me my greatest fan
And be sealed with a tender kiss
