To: Derick
...You Mean The World To me....

I know this kid named Derick
He’s a truly awesome guy
And he can always make me smile
When I feel the need to die

Were talking all the time
And it truly makes my day
And I just want him to know
That I need him in every way

I just can’t seem to smile
When he is not around
And he is always there
To take away my frown

I know that Im not home
And Im such a ways away
But the truth is that I miss him
And I wish I could have stayed

I just can't wait to see him
Cause it’s been just way to long
And Ive come to the conclusion
That hes where I belong

So now before I go
I just want him to know
That I am always here for him
And our friendship will always grow

    Great poem! Its always good to have someone that you can call a friend. This guy that you are talking about sounds like a true friend. I am lucky enough to have two people that I can call ture friends. When you have time please come look at my poem.
