my dad is the same... i kinda wish he did it when i younger and not leave me is take care of my family and pay everything just because he cant handle his responsibility

I know exactly what your talking about.. read my poem A Real Father, I never knew who my real dad was until I was 7 and he only seen me for 2 days and then out of the blue called me when I was 14 and I got to know him and even lived with him for awhile but then I realized he was too badly on drugs and then he just walked out and left me one day and I haven't seen him since.. I really miss him too

That gave me a knot in my throat...God do I hate reading poems like these..Not because they suck (this was very good) but because its so sad. I'm so sorry the pain your feeling, I can't lie and say I know how you feel because I haven't been through that, but I've been through pain and know how it hurts. So hang in there girl and know that God loves you even if you feel you have none from your father, he's your father anyways! Keep your head up hun you'll survive without him and turn out great! A five from me although it deserves to be higher!

WOW! IM SO SORRY! MY DAUGHTERS DAD TRIED TO DO THE SAME TO HER BUT HE HAS A DRUG ADDICTION SO HE CANT BE TRUSTED! I MADE THE DECISION TO KEEP MY DAUGHTER AWAY FROM HIM AND HE HASNT TRIED TO CONTACT HER IN ALMOST 3 YEARS, IT HURTS THAT PEOPLE CAN BE SO COLD HEARTED! KEEP UR HEAD UP SWEETIE! 5!

i still have my dad, so i don't know what it feels like not to have one but i guess it must feel pretty bad!!! im really sorry, i'm probably gonna lose my dad soon, and i can't cope with that but i guess it must feel worse for you!!!!
