I have feelings for my best friend and yet I dont want to tell him because I am afraid of what I might lose. Maybe one day I will and I will be his but until then I jsut keep doing what I can to be friends with him.

This poem reminds me a lot of how I felt before I started dating the guy I'm with now. We finally let our feelings out into the open, and it turned out for the best. Maybe things with your life will, too. Anywho, the part about him getting up and leaving without saying goodbye really stood out, because I used to almost cry when he did it. I thought for sure that meant he didn't share my feelings. I hope that things will turn out like they have for me...in the meantime, stay strong, sweetie.

this is really good! you can tell its coming from the heart! Have you ever tried telling him how you feel??? you may be breaking his heart because he thinks you don't like him back?
