You had to leave & you kissed me goodbye- I know you didn't see it, but I started to cry.

I can't believe I miss you so very much- it's only been hours since I last felt your touch.

I wish I could hold you every night- watching you sleep until the mornings' light.

I'd make you feel loved like you should- to make you happy and always feel good.

I close my eyes and I see your face- this image of you will never be replaced.

I'd give you the world and so much more- you've given me something worthwhile to live for!

So with this in mind- I'll hope you'll agree- that what we have should last an eternity!
