In the End

by Matthew Guitor   Aug 4, 2005

The deed is complete,
But it wasn’t a defeat,
A step in the right direction,
A victory of notification,
Things happen that we cannot prevent,
Chances are they were meant,
I will not cry for your choice was made,
My prices were paid,
I saw it coming in my dreams,
A premonition prepared me it seems,
My options are vast,
But the choice must be made fast,
What will happen next?
Life is so complexed,
I know I will move on,
I suppose you and me didn’t belong,
I hope you take it as good as I,
Do not waste your time and cry,
We both knew it was coming,
That was the beat our heart were drumming,
In a month things will be the way they were previously,
And all will be well and we will be happy.
