To The One That Lost Me

by Maegan   Aug 7, 2005

Waking from my dreams, knowing that I'll never see you again, hurts so bad that I cannot confide, in any caring friend. This pain is unexplainable and too great to express; and when I hear your name, I fall into a hopeless mess. Picking up the pieces from what was once my tender heart, is impossible to do, when they're so widely scattered apart. In one direction lies my love, and never-ending happiness, in the other is my pride, and my emotions so affectionate. You once ruled my heart; and left me lusting for invisible things, which were so far out of reach that now, I find it hard to believe, that you ever loved me like I was the only one; and now I've picked my heart up off the floor, and the love I had for you, has vanished... it is gone.
