Forbidden

by Prisci Cabezas   Aug 7, 2005

All is fair in love and war, or so they say
But what is this unjust price we pay
To be forbidden to fall in love so young
Only to be left as though you’ve been hung
Hung by cupid himself
Leaving your heart to rest upon a dusty shelf
Forbidden to share a passion that burns so deep inside with the one you adore
When all you wish for is to have your most desired dream come true and nothing more
