I was at peace with
The world am living in
Fenced with confidence that
No man would dare thread again.
Until , a soul I denied recognition
Engulfed my senses.
A voice I refuse to acknowledge
Reverberated with longing
My heart, once suspicious of every word
Now, skips a beat at the sound of his voice
My mind which before never wanders
Dare to dream the sweetness of his kisses.
How can I resist this man
So kind to love me for what I am
Expecting nothing but a little chance
To prove that his love is for real.
I can only hope and pray,
For this man to stay ‘til eternity.
Because if by chance I lost him,
My life will forever be in vain.
