If i were

by *Kyle*   Aug 12, 2005

If I were to lose my way, promise you would find me. If I were to become a nuisance, promise you wouldn't mind me; and If I were to fall asleep, promise you would wake me. If I were to passed out, promise you would shake me; and If I was barely hanging on; promise you would lift me. If I were a diamond desert, promise you would sift me; and If I were to finally fall, promise you would catch me. If I were to challenge you, promise you would match me; and If I were to hold you, promise you would squeeze me. If I were to want you bad, promise you would tease me; and If I were about to die, promise you would save me. If we were to take a break, promise you would crave me; and If I were to up and disappear, promise you would miss me. If I were to say: "I love you", promise you would kiss me.
