The Wind

by IhEaRtMaX   Aug 12, 2005

When I feel the wind,
I know you're there.
I feel you close to me,
in mid air.
Love me all you can,
for I cherish you.
Carry through the wind,
Take me with you, too.
The wind blowing in your face
is a familiar sign
saying you are my love,
and thou shall be mine.
Listen to it whisper,
softly in your ear.
It will give you clues
when it is so near.
Take time to say I love you
And show people you care
because Angel spirits are within us
and among thin air.
The wind is their spirit,
it defeats all within.
Your lost loved ones will help
to carry you through the wind.
And if only you could imagine,
what it's like to fly,
This is part song part poem,
and I hope it makes you cry.
Any day is a new beginning
of a softer tone.
Carry me through the wind,
carry me home.
The wind, the wind.
It helps you breathe
when you can reach the air,
or when you just can't sleep.
Tell me I am beautiful
and you'll live to see tomorrow
Don't make me cry like this
I already have too much sorrow
So listen to it whisper
softly in your ear,
it will give you clues,
when it is so near.
The wind is their spirit
it defeats all within.
Your lost loved ones will help
to carry you through the wind.
