How can I say that I love you beyond all?
Wherever you lead so many others will certainly follow,
And I would go with you save that I fall,
Fallen far from you where you leave me to wallow.
How can I show you that I love you above life?
My thoughts escape me whenever you come too near,
When you cry I’d do anything to shoulder your strife,
I would accept any task but won’t ask for fear.
If only I could tell you without using any words,
If only you could just know how I feel about you,
If only I could talk to you without sounding absurd,
If only you knew how much I really love you.
I would say this but I don’t know where to start,
So I just stand by while someone braver captures your heart.
