I Thought, I Think, I Know

As I lay my head on my pillow to rest

I thought of how much i missed you
I thought of how much i love you

I thought of the times we spent together
The words you spoke
The sweet words you told me

Thinking about this made me cry
Knowing I may never see you again
Knowing I may never hug you again
Knowing I may never kiss your soft lips again

But I look back at all that and say I am glad it happened
