The distance between us has grown,
Yet now we're closer than ever before,
Miles apart and still you feel close,
Like you're watching over me each day,
When I'm crying I know you care,
I know you think of me when I'm not there,
Although I miss you I still feel safe,
Trusting you'll be with me anytime any place,
Crying at every memory of us,
Sometimes tears fall just because,
I know I shouldn't, I know its not the end,
You and me are true friends,
Still I fear I may lose you completely,
Just a repeat of what I have seen,
Friends leaving, stay in contact for a while,
Then fading out with a smile,
It would crush me if that became true,
I can't bare the thought of losing you,
So forgive me if I call all the time,
I am trying to be strong this time,
I can't allow more tears to fall,
Trying desperately not to build any walls,
Somehow we'll be friends forever,
