It all started last night
Thoughts of you filled my mind
Objects shaping to pictures of you
Walking straight towards me
Arms well apart as in embrace.
My lips widen in sweet smile
In gentle motion my legs engaged
Heart thumping rapidly in excitement
Emotions overload overtake me
Tension took over the atmosphere.
Even before you reached me
Your perfume so strong I can touch it
In my heart I have embraced you already
My arms clinched never to part with you
How sweet your lips and soothing to my tongue.
I stood in awe watching your steps
You walked gracefully like upon wool
Movement so articulate only a masterpiece could
Eyes set straight, shoulders held high and firm
Your face as bright and colourful as a gem.
Just in second I had plans for you
Plane never thought of or imagined
Most excellent plan I have ever conceived
Details, places and Time well construed
Only you can make it materialise.
Now you are within reach
I stretched my arms to hold and embrace you
My heart joyously willing to express itself
My legs ready to travel another distance with you
Suddenly you are gone like mirage.
Then in a quick shake I jumped up
I sought for the flowers that coloured the place
The sun has also hidden away
The place wasn't as silent as where I lay
Oh its all coming back to me now.
It was just a dream
Not just another night dream
The most splendid of them all
And I was sleeping in my bedroom
I wish it could come true for me.
