What an awesome write! Such a wonderful message to set forth as so many girls young and old face such problems. As sad as it is...it's true. You should be so proud that you could write such a poem...It flowed wonderfully and I loved the story telling it held...excellent write!! :)

I got the chills and i'm about to cry....this is a touching poem....

"The scale imprisons her
dictates her life
Just to look skinny
health's the sacrifice

one hundred nine
ten whole pounds
she can't ruin this
She can't stop now

at one hundred five
she thinks its enough
But now she's addicted
and she just can't stop"

those lines caught my attention...lately i haven't been eating as much, i've been eating, but not as much as i usually do, because i want to look good....and those stanzas mad me think "if i succeed in stopping myself from eating, yeah, i'll get skinny, but i'll get so caught up in it and i won't stop, i'll keep on going..." this poem made me think...thank you...i still want to not eat as much, but i'll eat enougn now...keep up the great work...and take care *hugs*

Wonderful poem, though i think it fits the sad and depression or death subject better. it's really got a deep message but i do agree you use her and she a lot in this poem but i believe if you can write a poem this good with such a good message at hand you can surely be able to fix it up wonderfully!

Awww... this is a really great poem... and i understand it two considering i'm 13 people expect you to be skinny and beautiful...but sometimes your already beautiful just the way you are even if you don't think it.. it just may take a while to realize it!!!!bc i feel that way sometimes.. but i have to eat..food is so good lol
