VACANCY, Come Right In!

A big red sign
It's pretty hard to miss.
It's flashing and buzzing
Vacancy, come right in.

The owner is desperately looking
For someone to fill the space.
She has an idea of who
But he is currently residing somewhere else.

She offered to do anything
As long as he promised to stay.
But he was not willing to
Take the vacancy sign away.

So she still goes on with
The sign across her heart.
Hoping that one day
He'll make the buzzing stop.
