There she sat not saying a word,
Too confused about what she had heard.
She now realized her big mistake-
He gave her up for people's sake.
"But our love is true" he had once said..
Then gentle tears started to shed.
She thought to herself as she began to cry,
"Why did he say forever if it was all a lie?!"
"She said I'm young and not good enough for you,
But does that really matter in love that is true?!"
Them promises and sweet words we once used to say,
Here they lie broken-stepped on today.
Next week would have been a full whole year,
But it seemed to long so you made it clear.
My only fear was of losing you
And today that has happened too...
I realized today,

...So love i see as hurt and pain,
