True friends

How do you know
who's your real friends or not?
true friends stick together
no matter what

i know sometimes they get annoying
and there's times we start to argue
usually about stupid little things
but we'll get through it, we always do!

nothing can tear
good friends apart
not even guys or girls
who happen to steal your heart

good friends know all about you
the way you are, your personality
they care for you, share laughs with you,
treat and love you just like family

but some "friends"
are back stabbers
saying they're your friend
but they're just liars

telling you
a pack of lies
that soon begin
to multiply

then out of the blue
they come back to you
saying,"naw...i was just kidding."
"oh really? is that true?"

"spreading gossip
talking behind my back
is that what real friends do?"
they're just trying to follow the pack

because there's also people
filled green with envy
looking at you
like another enemy

but with my
i cherish my friends
because i know if i lose them
we might not be together again

like all the other people
i used to talk to
i wish i could see them
once more, maybe two!

and to my friends reading this now
remember this vow,
"our friendship, our love
is something I'll Always put above."
