If only

Don't you ask yourself,
After a breakup,
If you'll ever love again?
Then wish you'd patch it up together
Or at least still be friends?
It hurts your heart to know
They're free for other loves
And you are left alone,
Loved by none.
Ask yourself,
Would it be better with them
Or better now,if you learned how to survive the wrath of love,
And stronger within?
Just ask yourself a thought
And simply think,
"If only"
