Love's A Game

by Sweet Aroma   Sep 3, 2005

Love's a game and I played my part
I never thought I could break your heart
I played to win never thought I'd lose
and now I'm dealing with losing you

I entered your life with no commitment made
you told me that you felt the same
I never planned to fall in love
but at that point what was done was done

when you found out I thought I'd die
what you were saying had to be a lie
you touched my face to wipe away the tears
and told me the end was very near

you walked out of my life without turning your head
my heart, my soul, everything felt dead
my mind was confused and my feet were pacing
heart was racing and body was aching

I guess I got what I deserved
the pain and guilt was a lesson learned
that love is a game which we finish from start
and if you play it wrong you finish with a broken heart
