Love

by Lenny   Sep 6, 2005

That spell we cast so long ago
To merge our lives together
In the end as guilt prevailed
Began to rust and weathered

Our love the binding of that charm
Tore apart and scattered
And though traces of it still remain
Our secret love was shattered

Although many spells we have since cast
We forget to clean our hearts
And dusty memories are uncovered
With reminiscence and new starts

You will always remain in my heart
However hard I fight the fact
For love isnt always a blessing
That painful,
Eternal,
Pact.

Awesome,.. form was good and the wind-down conclusion worked well. The first line of the second stanza,.. id replace spell with one of its synonyms,.. and any other words that u dont think need to be repeated to keep the flow.. sometimes the repetition does help it, but variety is the spice of life.. ne way thats really my only suggestion,.. seems pretty solid thru and thru.. pZ
